伝えたいことはたくさんあるし、この２ヶ月でいろんなことがあったけど、とりあえずはインターナショナルバザーのことから。

Still in denial of the fact that my last international bazaar at DePauw is over...I always say international bazaar and international student orientation are the two best time of the year - not only because of all the fun we have together but also because we shine so bright through showcasing our talents, talking about our culture, and genuinely caring and loving one another. Shout out to @depauwisa for another successful bazaar and special thanks to all my fam who made my last bazaar so memorable! 次の日になって、とてつもない虚無感に襲われました。これからどんどん「最後」が増えていくんだなぁ。

 

DePauwのインターナショナルコミュニティーは、ここ数年格段に広がりました。留学生の数が増えたのはもちろんのこと、アメリカ人学生や、教職員、地域の方々も巻き込んで、今ではとっても大きなファミリーです。

わたしのこのDePauwでの４年間も、このコミュニティーのメンバーにずっとずっと支えられてきました。こんなにも思いやりに溢れている人たちには、滅多に出会えません。ほんとうにほんとうに、大切な家族です。

 

先週の水曜日には、大統領選の結果を受けて、図書館の前で温かい飲み物とお菓子を配ったほか、大きなボードを設置して誰でも何でも思いを描けるようにしました。

金曜日には、コミュニティーメンバーで集まって絆を再確認。正直な感想と様々な感情をゆっくりとはきだしました。ハグと安心の言葉が飛び交う、あたたかい空間に思わず涙が出そうになったり。

 

わたしももっともっと恩返し、恩送りをしなきゃね。
